Direct Jump (Kyoti)

DIRECT JUMP toggled with PTN + YES.

DIRECT JUMP toggled with PTN + YES.

An immediate pattern change. A cued pattern takes over on the next step, locked to the master clock: it plays where it would be had it been running since START, whatever its track lengths, scales or master settings.

Operation

Toggle with [PTN] + [YES]. OFF at every power-on.

Not the same module as DIRECT JUMP (CHAIN AFTER: DIRECT). Both change when a cued pattern takes over, and they have not been run in one image: take one per remix.

Status: on hardware: the author's MKI, 27-28 Sep 2026 (standalone 140C_KDJ7 and the KYOTI V1.0 combined image) and 1 Oct 2026 from DRAM (an octabam image with all six KYOTI modules); Program Change re-cues, MIDI tracks, START SILENT and the trig-condition reset emulator-verified.

Module facts (developers)

Clock-locked DIRECT JUMP ([PTN]+[YES]): a cued pattern lands on the next step exactly where it would be had it played since START.
